ABOUT
The Race
The Polar Bear 5-Miler, 5K, and The Bear first took place in the 1980s, running from various locations around Indianapolis. A new course and location at Franciscan City Way began in 2017 and ended in 2019.
The Polar Bear Winter Classic, featuring a 10k, 5k, and The Bear debuted in 2020, and the CRRG chapter of Polar Bear came to a close in 2023.
Steve, Jesse, and Chris couldn't stand to see such a longstanding Indianapolis running event end, and SJC Racing was born.
The Team
SJC Racing is proud to bring back the Polar Bear Winter Classic for the 42nd year in 2024.
